Message If he drove it with the broken DPs still hitting the turbines, then that is neglect. But he had installed precats already, and these wouldn't affect the turbos. The problem is that the metal shavings from the turbine had already infiltrated the engine. At this point, this is already the point of no return. Simply stranding yourself at a parking lot when you have to pull a potentially damaged engine anyway is not a sound idea. Now he is still going to have to pull the engine.

The only way he could blame himself is that he didn't replace the cracked downpipes once he noticed that they were cracked. But he was he probably doing just that when he noticed that the turbines would grounded away.
